White can modernize the look of anything whether it is with paint or fabric.I love ornate detailing as an accent to clean lines and classic styling.

Texture is key when decorating with white.

Freshen it up with white slipcovers. They cover anything you want to hide and are a gift if you have children, pets and a hubby.

My design advice: keep it simple, uncluttered, buy only what you love and work it.

Inspiration Monday ~ Bathroom Chic

I have been on a quest to find a little bathroom inspiration. I have had many questions regarding this topic... How can you make a bathroom chic? Bathrooms are my least favorite places to style, most people just want it to look like a bathroom and I prefer mine to only hint at being a bathroom. Using all white in a bathroom can also add to its cold and sterile feeling, so it is important to bring in some warmth.
So here is today's inspiration ...

Chic bathrooms with warm touches.....

just a hint of color....

definitely only hints at being a bathroom...

I would love waking up to this.... wouldn't you?

Love this look .....

you could use wider molding to frame it out or an ornate vintage frame.

I really like the idea of the "chippy" white piece used to hold the sink as well as the medicine cabinet, over the more perfect one in the 3rd photo.
